Sisters, sons, daughters, mothers
I can’t explain how I feel
Nursing is the greatest deal
I go to work and laugh all day
But make sure I stop to pray
I love how it’s always different
And what I do is significant
Nursing’s tough and really hard
I’ve always got to be on guard
Their well-being is up to me
Holistic care is the way to be
So many patients have touched my heart
I think that is the best part
Families accept you as their own
Because of the love and grace you’ve shown
