Dr Anne-Marie Boxall is the founding Director of the Deeble Institute for Health Policy Research, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong, an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Sydney and Managing Editor of the Australian Health Review. Senthorun Raj is a researcher and advocate with a passion for popular culture, social justice and law. He teaches at Sydney Law School and is a contributing writer for The Guardian. Sen serves on the boards of Amnesty International Australia and ACON Health. He is a former Churchill Fellow and has worked as the Senior Policy Advisor for the NSW Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby.
Social and structural barriers to health
Colette McGrath is a registered nurse and has been working in health and health management since 1986 in the UK and Australia. In 1998, she became Clinical Services Manager at Kirketon Road Centre (KRC) – a primary health care service for injecting drug users, at risk youth and sex workers – in Kings Cross. She was appointed Clinical Services Manager at Sydney Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC) in 2001, with the aim of reducing the number of drug overdoses and deaths associated with illicit drug use. In 2009 she became the HIV and Related Programs Manager (HARP) for South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health Districts.

Jane Caro is an author, novelist, journalist, broadcaster, columnist, advertising writer and media and social commentator. She has published five books and is currently working on ‘Just a Queen’ (a sequel to her earlier work ‘Just a Girl’), to be published in 2015. A regular on the Gruen Transfer, she also appears regularly across the media, including Sunrise, The Drum, Q&A, The Project, Daily Edition, Mornings on 9, Studio 10 and Today. She writes regular monthly columns for Mt (Management Today) Magazine, the Sun Herald’s Sunday Life and a weekly column in Crikey.
