Location: NSWNMA, 50 O'Dea Avenue, Waterloo NSW 2017
CPD Hours: 3.5
Cost: Members $50, Non-members $100, refreshments provided

Are you sure that you’re meeting your annual CPD obligations as required by the NMBA?

  • Do you create a learning plan and document your learning needs based on an evaluation of your practice against your Professional Standards every year?
  • Do you then participate in learning activities that meet these identified needs?
  • Do you know what constitutes a CPD activity?
  • Following each activity, do you complete a reflection on the value of that CPD activity?

There’s more to your annual CPD obligations than you may be aware of! Nurses and midwives can be audited against the CPD registration standard and may be asked for their CPD record if a complaint were to be raised about their practice. If you are unable to demonstrate that you meet the CPD standard the Board can impose conditions on your registration.

Join us for this interactive workshop where you’ll learn the ins and outs of your annual CPD obligations, including:

  • What the registration standards are and how they impact your practice
  • How to develop your learning plan each year
  • How to identify your learning needs and objectives
  • How to record your CPD activities and reflect on learning
  • What to do if you get audited.

Please read the NSWNMA Education Cancellation, Refund and Catering Policy prior to registering for this course.

Refreshments are provided.

A CPD Certificate will be provided to attendees at the end of the seminar.
