- Rotations: General/Acute Care – Oncology/Medical/Surgical, Urology/Gynaecology/Surgical, Day Surgery/Day of Surgery Admission Centre, Heart/Lung/Vascular/Neurological, Joint Replacement/Sports Injury management/Rehabilitation, Mater Orthopaedic Day Surgery, Obstetrics, Operating Theatres.
- Operating Theatres – a 12-month placement consisting of time in the following departments: Circulating/Instrument Nurse, Anaesthetics, Recovery
- Critical Care – Two rotations: the first rotation is within the Heart/Lung/Vascular/Neuro department followed by the second rotation within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Orthopaedics – 12-months in orthopaedic wards
- Offers supernumerary time for each rotation
- Study days
- Social nights
- Individualised learning objective plans
- Opportunity to complete clinical honours at UTAS
