HESTA has been named Super Fund of the Year at the 2013 SelectingSuper Awards.
SelectingSuper independently assesses more than 160 super products (64 funds) each year. Only its AAA-rated funds — those considered industry leaders — are eligible for the Super Fund of the Year Award.
Super Fund of the Year is selected based on consistency of performance over time, price and insurance value, product features, level of fund innovation and overall quality — as assessed by the Rainmaker research team.
According to SelectingSuper, the winner is the fund with the best overall standing or “the best of the very best”.
The SelectingSuper Awards are held each year to recognise the best superannuation providers and industry leaders in Australia.
The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) also recognised HESTA at its 2013 Awards for Excellence.
HESTA received the Communications Campaign Award and the prestigious Platinum Communication Award for its new digital member card.
