Journey Accident and Professional Indemnity Insurance

The New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association (NSWNMA) is committed to protecting the interests of nurses, midwives and the nursing and midwifery professions. The NSWNMA protects the industrial interests of members, as well as providing professional and educational support.

The commitment of NSWNMA to its members also extends to purchasing a range of insurances, including Journey Accident Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance

Note

NSWNMA has acquired Group Journey Accident and Professional Indemnity insurance to provide insurance for all current financial members. The cost of the policy is a benefit of membership and no separate payment is levied for the benefits provided by the policy. NSWNMA is not a Australian Financial Services Licensee (AFSL) or an Authorised Representative (AR) of a AFSL. NSWNMA does not receive any commission, remuneration or rebate from the insurer or any AFSL or AR in connection with the arrangement of the policies. At any time, members may contact Scott & Broad Pty Ltd (P: 02 9932 6444) to verify that the policy is current.

If the insurance policy is cancelled or not renewed, and not replaced by a similar policy NSWNMA will advise members of the cancellation or non-renewal so that the covered persons can arrange their own alternative insurance. If NSWNMA fails to provide this notification, it will indemnify the affected member for any loss or damage suffered as a direct result.
